The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for oral presentations or posters for consideration and inclusion in the program. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee will award the best presentation to three young scientists (under 40 years old).

Deadline: 15 January 2008
Abstracts received after this date will not be considered. Please allow sufficient time before the deadline because a large number of submissions is expected immediately before the deadline. Notices including changes in submission periods will be published on the Congress Home Page

Electronic submission:
All abstracts must be submitted through the Congress online abstract submission page. Submissions in paper form will not be accepted. For details, please refer to the Congress Home Page.

Evaluation of abstracts:
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. For reviewing and scheduling purposes, abstracts will be divided into fields. Please choose the appropriate field to which your abstract belongs. The Scientific Committee will attempt to respect the author's own choice concerning the field, but reserves the right to change the allocation in order to achieve a well-balanced scientific program.

Notification:
Presenting authors will be notified regarding the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts by March 15, 2008. Instructions for the presentations and proceedings will be given March 31. Presenting authors should submit the proceedings of the presentation by May 31, 2008.

Requirements for abstracts:
All abstracts will be published in English. The text should not exceed 2,500 characters including spaces.
